The fun of water damage

This is what we came home to after Thanksgiving

They came and ripped the carpet up and set up the driers and fans

And now that is is dry the demo begins

A little hike

This weekend we made our way into the smoky mountains to get away from the house since all we have been doing is painting and cutting trees down. We drove the Cade's Cove Loop and found a sign that said there was a 2mile hike to a water fall.....easy right? Well Cambree wanted to walk by herself so it was taking FOREVER by the time we crested the top of the ridge we were only half way and Cambree decided she was done and she wanted DADA Truck.....it was nap time. So now I got to carry a sleeping child down the mountain back to the truck.

The laundry room.

Well my last weekend in dyersburg I finally got the tile done in the laundry room. The reason it is not the same as the kitchen is because we ran out and they discontinued that tile. Figured white was good for a good clean laundry room.

While I was mixing the mortor a glob of mortor got under my safety glasses and got me in my eye. Scratched my eye pretty good and I have to wear my glasses for this week and put drops in twice a day.

Nightgowns are the latest craze

Cambree and her bear both got new nightgowns (the bear is wearing one of her old night shirts...but hey she does not know that muhahaha)

Storms....you will not be missed

 Well these lovely storms that have been rolling through every day finally did some damage. The larger gum ball tree lost a large limb and pulled the power pole over. Luckily the generator  kicks on automaticly so we had power but no A/C.

Well we made an offer

We found a house we just fell in love with and is within our price range. Due to the holiday weekend we will not hear anything until tue or wed next week.....booooo

Update

Well if you did not already know Leslie has gotten a job in Knoxville, TN. We have been swapping up driving back and forth but it is still a strain because Cambree is starting to notice that Mommy is not around much and you can tell it affects her. We should be pre qualified tomorrow so the house hunt will be on full throttle. 

While I was there last week I took this picture of Douglas Lake (10 min from where we are looking) it is so much more beautiful there compared to the armpit dyersburg is haha
