Christmas

We had a great Christmas! We opened presents at Leslies parents house on the 24th and then Christmas morning us and the kids went to Grandma and Grandpas house to open gifts and eat the famous breakfast (which was yummy for those that missed it) Caitlin had us this year and she got us a BEAUTIFUL picture from our wedding. Leslie got a new hand gun that is easier for her to carr since she will be in Memphis for school soon. I got some new shoes from Leslie. We had a great time and wish we did not have to run so much from family to family (we will do it different next year) We love you all and we are very blessed to have the family that we do we could not be more grateful!

Leslie's bday

Well her birthday is not until Tuesday but I will be working and Sunday was just easier. I teased Leslie with a junky flat iron because she wanted (very badly) the new CHI flat iron. As you can see she was not happy about the $16 iron.

Housing Update

Well I have gotten more info on the house that we thought was in foreclosure. Oddly enough Leslie is related to the woman kinda.....I guess......I think everyone in Ripley is related.
Regardless I got her cell phone number and called her. The house is not in foreclosure yet but is on its way there, she told me she would sell the house for $103,000 (the value of the house is only $101,000 and she paid $95,000) She said she was thinking of filing Chapter 7 (doing that she will lose the house) and the bank (HSBC) will most likely auction it off.

Being the nice guy I am I told her I would send her some info on filing chapter 7 and hopefully get the ball rolling on this hehe.

The house hunt

Ok I found out that a house in the same neighborhood as Leslies parents house is going into foreclosure. I have been doing research and talking to the neighbors and found out that the back door was unlocked. The house is rough due to the owner not taking care of the house and two large dogs living in it. The back door, all the floors and all the wall paint will have to be redone. I am hoping to get the house for around 50-60k the house was last sold for 98k...we will see.

sick

Well I am sick again. I have been really weak and I have been running a fever and puking my guts up. They took blood and gave me a nice shot in the butt. I think that nurse enjoyed her job too much.

Yes another dog

Well Leslie's mom thought it would be a good idea to buy us a $200 dog from some friends that were selling her because they could not have her. So when we get our own place around Jan. we will have three dogs.

Here name is Ellie.

Yummy!!

Chicken Rotel

1 box Rotini noodles
1 - can mexican rotel
1 - can drained sweet peas (english peas)
1 - can mushroom soup
1/2 stick - velvetta cheese
chopped jalapenos for spice
chicken breasts - however much you want in it

Either bake chicken breasts (350 degrees for 40 minutes) or cook with olive oil on the stove. Boil the noodles until soft.

While that is cooking, Mix your cheese and rotel together and melt in the microwave. Once this has melted, add the peas, mushroom soup, and jalapenos. Mix well.

Preheat oven 350 degrees -

When the chicken is finshed cute in cubes (bitesized), add the chicken and noodles (drained), and the cheese mixture into a casserole dish. Cover with aluminum foil and bake in the oven for about 15 minutes.

4wheel drive Jamboree in Indianapolis, IN

Spencer, Leslie, Rusty, Laura and I went to Indianapolis, IN for the 4wheel Drive Jamboree. Rough Country was there as a sponsor so we got in free. They had tough truck races, Diesel truck pulls, monster trucks and lawnmower racing.
